Here is a package that I made on the UNC-Jimmy V Foundation Dribble for Victory over Cancer event that took place in August 2022. This event was personally special to me because I have multiple family members and friends that have passed away due to cancer. I really enjoyed the experience of filming the event and having the opportunity to interview families that are currently experiencing or have experienced issues with pediatric cancer. It was a special day and I am proud to be a part of something that was able to bring joy to families in troubling times.
Here is a package that I made about my friend and roommate Sam Wey. Sam is an accomplished intramural athlete at UNC, winning two intramural cups in his four years at the school. This video was created during practice while his team was going for their third intramural title, which they sadly did not win. Massive thanks to Sam and his team for their time and allowing me to record their practice!
This is a package that I made for Sports Xtra, big thanks to Associate Athletic Director Rick Steinbacher for sitting down with me and explaining the ins and outs of the process. UNC is currently in the fundraising process for these facilities and they are hoping to raise $52 Million via the Rams Club for phase one of the project.
Braden owns a 1979 Triumph Spitfire that has been passed down through three generations of the McDaniel family. His Grandad Mickey purchased the car around 1980 and then his Dad Keith used it while he was going to college, finally it was passed down to Braden in 2019.
I have always been curious about how things are made so I sat down with my grandad Ben McMillan and he talks about his journey learning woodworking and 3D printing in his free time since he retired.
Some info about Ben: Ben McMillan spent 35 years working for a Mebane-based telephone company called Mebtel that would later be bought out by Centurylink. Once he retired eight years ago he decided he wanted to spend his free time learning about 3D printing, and as his passion for creating things developed he began to be interested in woodworking.
